Flamenco Show and Toledo tourEnjoy a famous Flamenco show at Corral de la Moreria including dinner and drinks. Considered the “cathedral of flamenco,” the Corral de la Moreria is the oldest tablao (flamenco house) in the world. Sit back and prepare to be mesmerised by an original performance where music, dance, and colours revive the passion of this legendary Spanish dance.
Also included is a small group Toledo and Loranque winery tour including lunch. Take the opportunity to visit one of the oldest towns in Europe, also considered a living museum: Toledo. Wander through different eras in history as you admire churches, mosques and synagogues. Then end your tour on a high note, with some wine tasting at the cellars of Finca Loranque. Sit back and take in beautiful views of the Spanish countryside while you’re driven to Toledo. The “City of the 3 Cultures” awaits you. Admire this city that Christians, Muslims and Jews simultaneously called home, allowing the 3 religious philosophies to flourish side by side. Travel to BilbaoYou will be transferred in a private vehicle to the train station for your train to Bilbao. Upon your arrival you will be collected and taken to your chosen hotel for the next 2 nights.
Vitoria-Gasteiz and Basque Country TourDiscover the heart of Basque Country with a guided walking tour of the capital, Vitoria-Gasteiz, and its surrounding areas. An expert guide leads you through the history, architecture, and bio-diversity of the culturally rich region, including lunch in the mediaeval village of Balmaseda. Get picked up from your hotel in Bilbao and drive out towards Vitoria-Gasteiz, the capital of Basque Country. A friendly guide takes you on a walking tour of the city’s most emblematic landmarks, including new Cathedral of Mary Immaculate with its High Gothic architecture, the 14th-century Church of St. Michael the Archangel, and the Basque Parliament headquarters. Your guide introduces you to the history and significance of each stop.
Travel to San SebastianYou will be transferred in a private vehicle to the Train Station for your train to San Sebastian. Upon your arrival you will be transferred in a private vehicle to your selected hotel for the next 2 nights.
Pintxo and Rioja wineries tourOne of the best ways to get to know Basque culture is through its food, and this tour has that covered. Join a local guide on a journey to explore the culture and tapas in San Sebastian for a great introduction to the city’s delicious flavours. Start your tour with a walk through the Old Town, where you can get to know the background of the experiences you’re about to have. Your guide can explain what sets a sagardotegi apart from a normal cider house and how Basque pinxtos puts a local spin on traditional tapas, and gets you ready to dive right in.
You will also discover the most famous wine region of Spain, La Rioja, where traditional family wineries coexist with other more avant-garde ones. Lovers of fine wine will get the opportunity to visit and taste the wines of two renowned wineries, stroll through vineyards, and even admire the architecture of the wineries designed by Frank Gehry and Santiago Calatrava. In addition to all this, our tour includes a typical full 3-course lunch in a winery. In this tour of La Rioja, you will also have time to explore and get lost within the medieval streets of the walled city of Laguardia.
Travel to BarcelonaYou will be transferred in a private vehicle to the train station for your train to Barcelona. Upon your arrival you will be transferred in a private vehicle to your selected hotel for the next 3 nights.
Cooking Workshop and Tapas Walking TourMeet up with your guide in the Plaça Reial and set off on foot towards La Boqueria, the incredible food and produce market at the heart of the city. Stroll among stands heaped high with beautiful ingredients from Catalonia and elsewhere in Spain as your guide describes the history of the market and the area where it’s located. From there, head back to the kitchen and get ready to cook. Learn to prepare typical Spanish recipes as you learn about the significance of Spain’s famous tapas, whipping up local delights like paella with fresh seafood, crisp patatas bravas, and a simple but delicious Spanish omelette. Once everything’s ready, sit down in a private lounge in a beautiful, centuries-old building. Sip on fine regional wines as waiters serve the dishes you’ve prepared along with gourmet delicacies like Manchego cheese and fine Iberian sausages.
The following day enjoy a feast for the senses with traditional tapas, delicious wine and colourful markets—the hustle and bustle of a Catalan afternoon. Experience the charm of Barcelona from a local’s perspective. Enjoy an evening among friends, with tasty food, choice wine and good conversation. Hop from bar to bar, tasting Spain’s fundamental flavours as your guide gives you an overview of the city and teaches you how to order tapas like the locals do. Stroll the colourful Boqueria Market, with its array of fresh fruit, vegetables, sweets and more. As you start tasting different tapas, your guide provides insight into the flavours you’re presented.
